If you know of a Tennessee Historical Marker not shown here, please send me its location. You can leave a comment on one of the entries or write to tom (dot) barron (at) comcast (dot) net. Thanks!

I have a 1967 picture of 1D 14 the arrow points to the right and the distance is 1/2 mile. Does it still exist and what is/was it's location
@Indy travler, thanks for the comment. As you can see, I took this picture back in 2006 and I haven't been back to Cumberland Gap since. I would guess the marker is still there, by the side of a street in the little town.
If you hover over the "Map" link, the coordinates in the javascript statement are the latitude and longitude of where I took the picture. They are: 36.6002,-83.669. If you go to maps.google.com and put those numbers into the search box, it should show you the location in Cumberland Gap. It's a little off -- Google maps puts it in the backyard on Pennlyn Ave. My recollection is that the marker was across the street from the Olde Mill Inn B&B -- I think that's the wooden building in the background of the picture.
